Owner, Tim Matthews, is a fourth generation logger who established East Coast Timberland, Inc. in 2000. His expertise in buying standing timber and land combined with his professional, understanding approach has brought him clients from all over eastern and central North Carolina.

In addition to 25+ years in the timber industry, Tim is a proud member of the North Carolina Forestry Association and is ProLogger Certified. The ProLogger program is designed to enhance the professionalism of timber harvesters through education and training in safety, environmental issues, and business management.
